The Scitech Planetarium is Australia’s largest planetarium, allowing you to take an immersive filmic journey as you relax in your seat and take in the 180-degree mega dome and surround sound. While usually at the Scitech Planetarium you are exploring the night sky and discovering the wonders of the universe through a live presentation, during Fringe World we are also excited to accept external producers into our planetarium to offer new kinds of films and presentations to be immersed in.

When attending a Fringe World event at Scitech you are invited to relax and have refreshments up to 30 minutes prior to your show in the foyer. Our foyer is accessible through the ground floor of City west and will have a card only bar and cocktail tables.
