Adam Hall and the Soul Playboys return to the State Theatre Centre Courtyard for an exciting new show, featuring the music of Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and many other Soul Music Legends. Featuring the award winning Adam Hall on trumpet and vocals. This All Star Band features a full horn section and some of Australia’s great musicians. So get a group together and come and boogie before the Australia Day Long weekend and have yourself a Soul Rhythm Spectacular.

Adam Hall has worked with numerous talents such as: James Morrison, Don Burrows, former leader of the Count Basie Orchestra Frank Foster, Shirley Horn's band, Vanessa Amorosi and Grace Knight, to name just a few. He has performed and recorded with New Orleans Lumineries Jason Marsalis, Maurice 'Mobetta' Brown, Wendell Brunious, Ashlin Parker through the Trumpet Mafia association and Adam is also the leader of the Australian version of the Trumpet Mafia. After a journey to Cuba, Adam connected to the remaining members of the Buena Vista Social Club including Barbarito Torres, Mirabal, Rolando Luna, Hugo Garzon (original singer of Chan Chan).
