Amber Scates is a versatile performer with an out-of-this-world stage presence. Trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a Bachelor’s and Diploma in Musical Theatre, Amber brings a refined skill set to her artistry. She began as the lead singer of the indie-rock band RAKSHA in Perth, releasing music and winning countless awards over five years.
Amber has since toured Australia with the award-winning cabaret company Tone & Cheek, performed in acclaimed shows like Club D'Amore and Tuck Shop, released new music, produced her own rock shows, and launched her podcast and show, The Realtime Diaries of Amber Scates.
