Presented by:
Mia Atkinson-Phillips

Hi I’m Mia, a 19-year-old circus performer
I’ve been training in circus skills since I was 10 years old, however, I only started performing when I joined the ‘5 Rings’ circus troup with Circus Central (now defunct) in England.
Recently I have moved away from youth groups and I'm working to become a performer who can bring artists together in many ways, including my new show ‘Journal of the Forest’.
I have been a part of two youth groups in the past. The five-ring youth troup with Circus Central pushed my act-making skill and creativity, along with the cirquest youth troup which helped build my skillwork and teamwork capabilities.

I am to produce ‘Journal of the Forest’ which i am hoping will be an enjoyable show for our audience as well as an enriching experience for its performers.
