About this event

Jimmy and Corgan are BFFs. Hurtling towards their 30s. Life is filled with a mix of Tinder, Grindr, binge-drinking and half-hearted hook-ups. As the wedding of Corgan’s ex looms and Jimmy’s love life stagnates, the two struggle to get their lives in working order. FAG/STAG is one story, told twice, from the perspective of two (very) unreliable narrators. Brimming with laughs, tenderness and quarter-life-crisis ennui, this is a brutally honest and hilarious exploration of contemporary masculinity and what it means to have a best mate when you’re stuck being your worst self. After touring Australia and the world for ten years, winning hearts and awards all the way, this new production sees Jeffrey Jay Fowler take the role of director to hand FAG/STAG down to a new generation of actors.
