About this event

Girl falls down rabbit hole, eats some mushrooms, sees some weird stuff, makes friends with a cat, then wakes up and it was all a lovely dream, yes, yes, we’ve all heard the story before. But not like this.

What if Alice fell into a rabbit hole of doom scrolling? What if she spiralled into depression, body dysmorphia and substance abuse? It’s not a dream so she can’t wake up, but what do you do when your reality seems stranger than fiction? Does the Jaberwocky live in your mind, or is he really coming to get you?

Join this unforgettable cast of young Aussie artists as they dive into the psychological nuance of Lewis Carroll’s beloved fiction. This piece will take audiences on a trip to Wonderland- take care you don’t lose your head along the way!

Presented by:
Sarah Kinch

Sarah is an emerging dancer and contemporary choreographer currently living and grooving in Perth/Boorloo. Originally from Melbourne, she began dancing at age four, moving to Perth in 2020 to study at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
In January 2024 she directed and performed in an original creation entitled "Two Truths and a Lie" as part of Perth Fringe Festival.
When she is not dancing, Sarah can be found bouldering, swimming, out for a run, enjoying some yoga on the beach, or making friends with the neighbourhood dogs and cats.
