About this event

Australia's favourite grammatical comedy is back by popular demand after sold-out seasons at FRINGE WORLD 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2024!

Louisa's found true love in the English language, but it's hard being a grammar nerd when there are people selling 'potato's' and misusing the word 'literally' at every turn. All she really wants is someone who'll snuggle up with her on the couch and seductively whisper puns into her ear. Ideally in multiple languages. Is that too much to ask?

It's nerdy. It's pun-filled. And it might just make you want to learn a language... or at least start erasing those damn stray apostrophes on cafe blackboards.

Performed by Louisa Fitzhardinge and Greg Lavell

Presented by:
Louisa Fitzhardinge

Louisa Fitzhardinge’s critically-acclaimed musical comedy, Comma Sutra, has toured for over ten years, enjoying six consecutive years of sold out runs at Perth FRINGE WORLD, an international tour and a Best Cabaret nomination. Her new show, The Von Donk Family Old-Timey Vaudeville Revue, was hailed by The Age as one of the top nine shows not to miss at Melbourne Comedy Festival when it made its debut in April 2024. She is the creator and host of improvised pun slam The Australian O-Pun, and a member of much-loved improvised comedy troupes The Big HOO-HAA!, Impromptunes, Murder Village and Spontaneous Broadway. In her spare time, she works as a voice over artist and tours a comedy maths show for kids, like the big nerd she is.
