Class of 2005
About this event
Class of 2005 is an original theatre work from Home-grown Theatre in collaboration with young people from the Cockburn Drama Program.
It is 2005 and graduation day at Glory Heights High! Cora can't wait to begin her new life away from the horrible Golden Girl clique. She just has to survive the ceremony and then she's free! Fast forward 20 years and Cora's life is not turning out as expected. So when she receives an invitation to the Class of 2005's reunion, it becomes her chance to go back and rewrite history. At first, the reunion is full of fun surprises, but it doesn't take long for the cracks to start showing and the question to be asked- can you ever really change who you are?
Class of 2005 is a nostalgic journey about growing up, true friendships, and being authentically you.
