About this event

What happens when two overly interconnected share houses go head-to-head in an epic, highly anticipated board game showdown?

It’s that time of year again. The Bourke Street share house makes the journey over to the Vine Street share house to compete in their annual board game competition. The miniature trophy prize and the prospect of a framed photo of the opposing house on their fridge seems trivial, but there’s more at stake. Simmering under the surface are tensions, hardcore competitiveness, and unresolved conflicts. Six young adults with a myriad of quirks make them either the perfect team-mate or a recipe for disaster, and hilarity ensues!

When the chips are down and victory is near, people will do whatever it takes to win. What will be revealed?

Presented by:
Penelope Gordon & Finn Hoegh-Guldberg

Penelope and Finn met in the Advanced Diploma of Performance at WAAPA, and bonded over a love of board games and great theatre. They have developed a strong creative partnership, built on a shared passion to create theatre focused on the relationships between people, using every-day situations to explore the intricacies and complexities of human connection. They value comedy as a way to bring people together and explore the more immoral parts of human nature. This shared vision has enabled them to develop Articulate together across the course of 2024.
Finn and Penelope bring experience from the theatre scenes of Melbourne and Sydney, and are excited to bring their new work to FRINGE WORLD.
