The Blue Room Theatre

The Blue Room Theatre is Perth’s home of independent live performance. For over 30 years, we have supported artists to create and present new work across theatre, performance, comedy, dance and experimental forms. Located in the Perth Cultural Centre, we are a year-round producing venue with three performance spaces, a bar, rehearsal rooms and artist resources. We provide seed funding, mentorship, technical, producing and marketing support to help artists take creative risks and reach audiences. Each year we present more than 250 performances to over 20,000 patrons, championing local and diverse voices. During Fringe, our Summer Nights program showcases bold, contemporary works and connects artists with new audiences. As a not-for-profit, we reinvest in artists and the sector, growing careers and strengthening the independent arts community in WA.
