Australia Day entertainment

Australia Day (26 Jan) may be a public holiday, but our artists and venues won’t be resting and it’s a great time to check out a show (or two).
The Fringe Kids! School holiday program at The Woodside Pleasure Garden (open 2.30pm - 11.30pm on Australia Day) will be in full swing with free and great value shows to entertain the kids, and shady areas to enjoy refreshments. Check out shows like:
FRINGE WORLD Mermaids: The Splash Zone
Abracadabra and Other Useless Magic Words
Girls School (open 5.30pm - 12.00am on Australia Day) in East Perth has all your theatre, music and comedy choices sorted in one place. See the likes of:
Joe White: Ethiopian & Still Not Hungry - Corona Time!
The Music Of Nancy Wilson/Cannonball Adderley
Elsewhere in the city there are loads of City of Perth free activities like the Birak Concert and comedy shows including:
Thomas Green: Cultivated, Brass Monkey Hotel
