ARTRAGE Raises the Appeal
Posted in Media Releases

Launching on 17 August, the six-week appeal will invite the ARTRAGE community to support the development of year-round opportunities for Western Australian Artists and audiences as the arts organisation flexes into new opportunities.
Donations will be directed towards a new initiative from ARTRAGE, Free Range.
Free Range aims to take artists out of the theatre and into unconventional spaces, showcasing Perth artists and locations like never before. The initiative will act as springboard for the creation of new and exciting work, alongside providing mentorship and development opportunities for WA-based artists.
Sharon Burgess, ARTRAGE CEO explains, “Every donation, big or small, has a significant impact. We are incredibly proud to have presented unique and beloved events to WA audiences since 1983. From FRINGE WORLD, to Rooftop Movies, Girls School and everything in between. Now, we want the opportunity to bring more year-round events and world-class productions to the stage with the support of our community”
ARTRAGE was able to undertake the capacity building required to support the undertaking of an Annual Appeal through generous support received from Woodside Energy, who in 2021 transitioned from a sponsor of FRINGE WORLD.
