FRINGE Central is at the very heart of everything

FRINGE Central is the absolute centre of the FRINGE WORLD universe and the best place to begin your Fringe adventure.

FRINGE Central is in The Perth Cultural Centre and the place to start is at the box office. It’s where you can pick you your tickets, chat with artists and get recommendations for what to see.

Free entertainment all Festival long

Take a ride on the ferris wheel next to the box office for a stunning overview of the buzz and hustle below. 

The Perth Culture Centre Screen hosts Lightbox18 - an illumination of art from a stellar line-up of international and local artists.

To top it all off, street performances nightly add to the buzzing festival atmosphere.

Home of The Showman's Fair

With The Showman’s Fair happening in the Urban Orchard, FRINGE Central truly is the place to be this year.

It’s a wild Dutch mini-festival with live music, performances and special surprises including a long table dining experience that you’ll be talking about for years! Make sure you hold out for dessert – there will be pancakes!

Stuff for the kids

FRINGE WORLD Festival has special places for our youngest guests and this is one of them. Let the kids run wild this Fringe at PlaySpace – a spot that is just for them.

More spaces than you can poke a stick at

Also found nestled in the Perth Cultural Centre is Circus Theatre, The Gold Digger and The Shambles serving up some sweets comedy, cabaret and circus treats.

FRINGE Central also includes The Blue Room, State Theatre Centre, Perth Institute for Contemporary Arts and the State Library – there’s something happening all festival long!
