The enthusiasm behind this show made it captivating to watch! Its intimate setting felt less like a performance and more like an invitation to be present, curious explore together the nature of play and the obstacles to connection we place in our own way. "Play." doesn't rely on gimmicks or fancy tricks to wow the audience, and as a result stays relatable while touching on some poignant facets of being human. All without taking itself too seriously -- a really unique and authentic show, bravo!

You will never see the same show we did so our review is redundant. However having said that I & my husband do strongly recommend seeing this highly entertaining and poignant show, it might effect everything if you miss out!

Very enjoyable abstract mime/dance performance, Very alternative, Very engaging, Very Fringe If you're looking for something other than your boring mainstream comedy or big-name show, The Routine brings that Classic Fringe show experience with some expert use of physical storytelling and some great sound design.

What icons!!

Disappointing and poorly managed. Waited in line for an hour to be seated on tightly packed plastic seats. No view of the stage for the shorter people, poor sound quality, and overall just felt tacky. Not worth the money.

Poor organisation, no communication, very late, sound quality poor, some funny bits

Story telling from the wisdom, energies and heart of the Major Arcana - the journey Diana took using was like a smorgasbord of Tarot. It's not a show like others, no acting, no razzle dazzle, no back uo dancers, comedy or live music...but as the hour ends, you're left wanting more which is always a win.

Tickets are a bit too expensive for what you get in my opinion but the show was mostly worth it, if you get enjoyment out of acrobatics in a Japanese themed show. The shamisen act dragged a bit as I didn't think it matched the calibre of the other acts. I was however impressed by all the acrobatics, especially suspended pole/hair and aerial silks, and all the performers had great charisma.

A beautiful piece of art that moved me close to tears and deserves all the praise and acclaim I can give. Emmett is a wonderful storyteller who gives the voices of the people the justice they deserve. Well worth the price plus more.
