Hugo has a talent beyond measure for connecting with an audience of any age. This show is so cleverly written and performed with so much talent. I’m so glad we have the Spotify playlist to relive it at home!

An okay night, but the concept fell short. The link between the comedians and the drinks was very loose—often just the same country, or “close enough”—with little actual information about the alcohol itself. On our night, the third comedian seemed underprepared and a bit worse for wear, which made that segment awkward. The rest were fine, but overall the comedy and tasting elements never really came together.

Disappointing. I was genuinely excited to see this show after all the promotion, but it fell well short of expectations. There were only a handful of actual magic moments, and the heavy use of audio and sound effects made the hour feel uncomfortable rather than immersive. Overall, the pacing was slow and the atmosphere overbearing. I would have much preferred a more traditional, fast-paced magic show that focused on skill and engagement rather than prolonged tension.
