With 204 early release tickets on sale to Friends today, we’re getting helpful by sharing some of our insider knowledge. We know a fair bit about the festival-life, so let us tell you everything we’ve learned over the years! 

1. Do your research before you go! 

With 204 shows in the early release, planning your Festival in advance and doing research beforehand is key to organising a chillax trip to FRINGE WORLD 2022.  

2. Read the recommendations on FringeFeed 

We’ve got a bunch of hot tips on FringeFeed to give you the inside scoop on what’s coming up. There’s also a collective of incredible reviewers who go to loads of shows - so you can try before you buy. 

3. Buy your tickets early 

Early release tickets go on sale to Friends from 20 October and to everyone else on 27 October. 

4. Taste-test before the show 

Get to know the local near your FRINGE show venue and trial some of the delicious offerings around Perth by visiting a new restaurant before you arrive. 

5. Check out a Fringe venue before the Festival begins 

Get in the mood by heading to one of our FRINGE WORLD venues like Rooftop Movies before the festival kicks off in January. Grab a drink and catch a quirky cult classic as the sun sets over this magical movie paradise in the sky. 

6. Become a Friend and benefit from our rewards 

We’ve made a bunch of great mates since we began our Friends program. Hook yourself up with a Friends subscription for exclusive benefits like early access to tickets and skip the line passes at FRINGE WORLD hub venues.  

7. Be Spontaneous 

Keep some slots free to see a show you’ve never heard of - you might surprise yourself and stumble upon a gem. It’s also an incredible opportunity to support artists early in their career and you then can claim you saw them first! 
 

A final word of advice from us - plan-ahead, buy early and see as many shows as you can. FRINGE WORLD Festival is the best time of the year in Western Australia, and we’re madly counting down the days until it all kicks off!
