promethe(us) describes the origin of the grandiose story of man, how he suffers for the good of people. the beauty of this show is how it highlights the experiences of those who fell through the cracks. using impactful staging and immersive music and original songs, this show put to words the uncomfortability from my world-view perspective and i recommend catching it during it's fringe season!

This is a stunning and raw retelling of the Prometheus myth, situating it at the heart of a contemporary understanding of identity as this relates to society and the body. It’s vulnerable and real. The writing and cast are impressive while the incorporation of live music and the talent of the musician further lends to a performance that is heartfelt and steeped in emotion. Reflective, nuanced and thought-provoking.
