Recycle that, would see again
“Recycle that, would see again”
Eileen's very personal performances get us laughing, identifying, remembering, and contemplating! The first in the series, Loft Clearance, was brilliant. We've probably all been there. If Loft Clearance was provoked by the often dust-covered objects and memories that have accumulated around (or above!) our lives, Loft Luggage moves our thoughts and feelings between where we've been, where we've made our homes, where we might go next, what we should take with us, and what we should leave behind.

I went to see the Work in Progress of this in London and absolutely loved it. I didn’t know what to expect prior to seeing it but I left having laughed, cried and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. It was moving, thoughtful and evocative. Eileen is a beautiful story teller who leaves you wanting more. I thoroughly recommend to everyone. Five stars

Eileen's Loft Luggage is a highly enjoyable experience in which she takes her audience on journeys with her. Many of the journeys are memories, and deeply personal items to her (like a baby-grow, and a scrap-book) launch us on trips with her down memory lane. But Eileen also reflects on her epic journeys and travels around the world. She leaves the viewer with poignant questions around retirement, and asks, 'where to now?'

Having seen and loved ‘Loft Clearance’, Eileen’s second show ‘Loft Luggage’ was going to be an essential watch. It did not disappoint. This show has the same humorous yet moving style but considers, after clearing your loft, where will your life go? Do the left over belongings show us something about what is important in life? This show is a must see for anyone who has already seen Loft Clearance, but is also a fascinating and touching show if it’s the only one of Eileen’s productions you see.

I saw this show in the UK, it really makes you think. The connections you have to stuff, the emotions they provoke and promote, the memories they trigger and the friendships they revive or recharge. It was funny and emotional, thought provoking and relatable. We had a great evening and talked of our reactions into the night. Go and check it out.
