I expected more theatrical or narrative storytelling to give context to such a rich musical tradition which was Laurel Canyon during this period. Instead it was a couple of street buskers belting out their fav tunes, forgetting some lyrics, missing out others, and actually getting a story behind a song mixed up. Talented guitarist and sax players but it was more like a pub singalong. Disappointing and didn’t do the songs or era the tribute deserved.
