Award-winning Australian showman Reuben Kaye returns to FRINGE WORLD in 2021 for an outrageously beautiful performance, the self-titled, Reuben Kaye show. Don’t let his self-titled show fool you, Kaye is so humble that his gender pronoun is ‘talented’.

Kaye sets the tone for the evening by greeting each and every audience member as they enter The Rechabite Hall. This warm and welcoming touch is a theme that carries throughout the show – it’s inclusive, it shines a spotlight on the need to change archaic attitudes towards sexuality, gender and identity, and it’s sure to leave an impression.

Kaye soon proves that talented is what he really is. He puts his heart and soul into every performance and has enviably mastered everything from comedy, acting, and dancing to singing and storytelling. And it’s all rolled up into one debaucherous, Reuben Kaye shaped package.

Kaye naturally demands the audience’s attention and respect, sending them on a rollercoaster of emotions – they engage, listen, feel, and of course, laugh for the entirety of the show.

Kaye has mastered the ability to control the emotions of an audience. He seamlessly merges comedy with heartfelt truths, tales of the misunderstood and poignant messages to deliver an electric, motivational performance that will linger in the minds of the audience long after the show ends.

Enter Kaye’s world as he takes you on his personal journey, putting his trauma on display to evoke emotion and inspire change with sharp wit, big eyelashes and of course, glitter. Kaye’s masterpiece performance is honestly mesmerizing and leaves the audiences with an important message to be seen, but more importantly, see yourself.
