If you are hoping for trustworthy updates on pop culture from a FRINGE WORLD show, of course it could be found at the premier learning environment of Girls School, vis a vis YAAAS KWEEN.

The sold out audience of beautiful lovelies tonight chose to be here instead of Australia Day fireworks; let that be a testament to Jaleesa Maher (sell-out FRINGE WORLD Festival show 'Crazy Sexy Improv'), here she shines as “Veronica the lesbian” who helps teach heterosexuals how best to please a girl; Amri Mrisho (nominated best actor in film 'One Up') who inspires the gleeful audience to laugh often; Alex Christophers ('The Improv Showdown') here bigger than life, and Ariel Tresham (FRINGE WORLD show ‘Stand Up, Skit Down’) who wows with more than just her smart wardrobe choices. Extremely well supported with stellar performances by Patrice Maher, Jay Overington and Tony Woods. Presented by “Only The Human.”

“Yaaas Kween is written by girls, queers, brown people, and...some dudes.” One can feel it comes straight from the heart and is a fun, flirty, evening out for an intelligent group of friends who appreciate the LGQTA alliance. This almost improv style sketch comedy will leave guests with plenty to discuss after the show whether the topic be politics, racism, Covid 19, sustainability, the health care system, ethics; all with a sense of humor.

I most appreciate how they promote veganism and beg one to listen to girls, and “especially lesbians!”

While playfully kidding, this adult-themed event contains moments of absolute sheer brilliance whilst throwing a lot of environmental messages to a most appreciative audience.

Catch this with a group of friends as soon as you can at Girls School, a very special venue to also grab a drink and perfectly support the artists of Fringe.
