If you like thrillers, you will most likely find some enjoyment in this theatre show. It pays homage to films such as Scream, as a series of characters are being killed one-by-one, leaving you guessing who the murderer is. While I guessed some parts of the story, there was still an interesting plot twist.

The actors playing Michael and Carrie were the strongest in their performances, while others were clearly new to being on stage. The costumes were well thought out, making it easy to clearly identify characters and their personality types. The transitions between scenes could have been smoother, with setting up the stage taking a little too long at times. Although there were minimal props, there was a great use of the set and lighting. The score was well suited and helped to build suspense in particular scenes. In some moments, they broke the fourth wall, which got a great audience reaction.

The dialogue could be refined in some instances and there was too much backstory per character crammed into the short play. There was also a random musical scene in the middle, which could have been cut to allow for other developments. Although there were some plot inconsistencies, the narrative certainly keeps you engaged. The play started off really strong, drawing the audience in immediately however the ending could be fine tuned.

The highlight of the stage production was the murder scenes. They will keep you on the edge of your seat, as your eyes dart around the stage looking for where the villain may appear from next.
