A show for anyone who loves a thrilling laugh!

‘Circus’Cision: Those that made the cut!’ delivers a raunchy, comedy-filled event for lovers of acrobatics, adult-style humour and a show that is sure to surprise you.

If you ever visited the circus as a child, I’m sure you can recall the feeling of being absolutely enthralled by the good, simple joy of the show.  Whether it be the clowns, the acrobats or the animals, the circus has always been about fun. Attending ‘Circus’Cision: Those that made the cut!’ is a far cry from the innocent circus shows you may remember from childhood, but it delivers that same sense of fun and joy.

This show is the adult-rated version of everything you love in a circus, whether this be the captivating host who regales audiences with cheeky jokes or the variety of diverse acts that range from contortion to nude dancing. Comedy is a central tenet of this show and if you come expecting to laugh you will not be disappointed.

The acts were all delivered with a refined, polished style that demonstrates the immense effort put into entertaining the audience. The acrobats performed their sets with precision, poise and a sense of passion that felt tangible to the audience. The host of the show kept everyone well-entertained between acts and directed the flow of the performance with interludes of witty banter and colloquial charm.

As impressive as the acts were individually, it felt at times as though the order of the sets were random and could have built to a better crescendo. Nonetheless, I felt that the show kept me on my toes and felt cohesive overall.

The most admirable and endearing part of this show was truly the charm and cheekiness of the host and his fellow performers. It was truly well-performed, witty and just plain fun.
