Meet Monty Cotton: corporate accountant turned musician. Only tonight, he’s Johnny Cash.

A Perth local, the former The Voice Australia contestant has built a legacy by travelling the globe to deliver a greatest hits tribute to country music legend, Johnny Cash.

Cotton is a sought after, sell-out performer who has an engaging, distinctive style and musical versatility which instantly demands the attention of his audiences and underpins his worldwide success.

Be prepared for uncannily alike and spiced up renditions of Folsom Prison Blues, Ring of Fire, and the always comical, A Boy Named Sue. The hits are delivered on this occasion by a dynamic duo, complemented by a variety of instruments, including an authentic double bass and a grand piano at the dimly lit, intimate and always welcoming Ellington Jazz Club.

Close your eyes, be transported with the rest of the audience to a honky-tonk in the 1960s, and feel the rhythm of Cash’s mixed musical influences of country, rock and blues. This entertaining hour of country western power is as close to Cash as you can get and is a must-see for all country music fans.
