“I tried to be a boy.
I tried to be a girl...
I tried to do my best.”

These are some of Madonna’s most relatable lyrics as embraced by the LGQTA alliance, so thank goodness Barbie Q and Kinetica’s Mr Boylesque Australia 2017 Karl Kayoss live up to where Her Madgesty set the bar.

FRINGE WORLD allows only just one official Fringe volunteer to review every show, so it is an honor and privilege that I get to review this performance.

The show features the most beautiful back up dancers on Earth and Kinetica more than lives up to their hype. Sarah Ritchie mesmerizes with aerial silks and contortion.

Matthew was beyond words with canes, hand balancing, and trapeze. Gymnastics were off the charts and Rebecca Mason bedazzles with aerial anchor and loops.

The audience cheered so loud repeatedly dazzled:

“So I'm checking out the bodies
And you know I'm satisfied
I'm digging on the isotopes
This metaphysics stuff is dope
And if all this can give me hope
You know I'm satisfied...”

From the same song by Madonna.

Barbie Q and Kinetica’s metaphysics stuff is dope! Last I checked, tickets for their few remaining performances were selling fast as tonight was sold out.
