Frankie Fatale’s fabulous first fringe foray. So this is Frankie’s first Fringe World show.  And what a debut!

Billed as Australia’s Queen of Striptease, you pretty much know what to expect when you rock up for the late-night show.  But wow, Frankie delivered in spades.

This is a one-woman show and Frankie dominates the stage.  It clearly helps that Frankie is endowed with the physical attributes of a swimsuit model, the dexterity and strength of a ballet dancer, the flexibility of a circus acrobat topped off with a mass of long red hair, but what sets her apart is her stagecraft.

Frankie is a woman right on top of her game and plays exquisitely with the punters. Eye contact is very important and she is the master of the ‘come hither/ don’t mess with me’ look, at once both enticing and disconcerting, which somehow is directed to us all, individually.

The menagerie show sees Frankie present a number of animal-themed stripteases, each one showcasing a different animal with a different style and a different exotic outfit to sensuously discard.

She plays up to the audience demanding us to be raucous and feeding on the noise and encouragement to tease and tease and tease.
There are various props - no surprise that a pole features – but also plenty of unexpected pieces, and at times the stage crew members have to work hard getting these ready for Frankie during her costume changes.

And through it all Frankie is just a great mover – whether strutting around the stage in high heels or contorting her body – she exudes a graceful sexiness which is a delight to watch.

A great addition to the Fringe smorgasbord, so if you fancy an adult show from one of the best in her business, get along and see Frankie in action.
