Ever wondered where your bread comes from (apart from the far back corner of IGA)? Wonder no more! Come and join The Bakers as they invite you into their flour-filled family bakery.

Welcome! Bienvenue! Come inside, you’re part of the family now. Join in the fun, and feel free to taste the bread (if you can catch it).

Remember those short heart-warming films Pixar show just before their feature film? You know the ones: very little dialogue, but funny and sweet?

The Bakers is the real-life version of that: little talk, but a lot of laughs; simply pure gold.

From the moment Papa appeared in a puff of flour, grunting and guffawing his way across the stage, he had the audience transfixed, remaining so until the final curtain.

Taking a novel spin on the story of the prodigal son (but with a lot more punch), The Bakers flows effortlessly, the talented trio of performers showcasing an absolute command of mime and physical comedy (I don’t know about you, but I’d certainly never seen a live time-lapse before last night).

With cleverly incorporated audience participation (ever wanted to be a Baker’s Apprentice?) The Bakers will have you laughing into your sandwiches.

Heart-warming, hilarious and not without a little pain, (the French kind, of course), The Bakers is the best thing since sliced bread.
