If beards, bellies, tattoos, laughter and drinking are your thing, then you must get down to see 1 Pint 2 Many at this year’s FRINGE WORLD Festival. To sum up the show in the words of the MC himself: “The more energy you give us, the more stupid s*** we do.”

Proudly unscripted, this 60-minute show has it all: tricks, stunts, jokes and a little bit of skin. There’s the sense that each mini-performance is still a work in progress – the audience’s anticipation heightened by their “we just thought of this one, let’s give it a go” mentality.

Delivered by four very different but wildly talented performers, this stand-out show will make you laugh, make you think, make you drink, and then laugh some more.

The clue is in the name: 1 Pint 2 Many (if there even is such a thing) is not a show for those with an aversion to the occasional (or not so occasional) bevvy.

With the risk factor heightened by each performer’s utter dedication to their craft (beer, that is) be warned that they live and perform by the maxim that ‘nothing happens until (their) drink is finished’.

Beyond tricks and stunts, however, the magic that sets 1 Pint 2 Many apart, making it a must-see at FRINGE WORLD 2020, is the utter pleasure each artist clearly derives from delivering their performance.

That even on the odd occasion where things maybe don’t go as planned (in fact especially when this occurs) no-one is laughing louder or longer than the performer themselves.

And don’t think you’re safe in the rafters! The audience is called upon to regularly share in the fun … with new takes on Mexican waves, suggestions for drinking game rules and … of course … the drinking itself.
