Aidan Jones, aka Taco, takes you on a playful ride through his ethnically confused double life as he tackles the big questions in life and explores the circumstances and people that shaped him.

Columbian? Australian? Or just a good human being? Aidan turns to family far and wide seeking answers with priceless consequences.

Aidan is fun and engaging on stage, with a disarming persona and ready to talk about, and find the lightheartedness in, growing up different.

Towing the line between belonging and being Other, without first knowing how or why, Aidan digs deep until roots are exposed and a journey of self reflection begins to uncover endearing insights and painfully hilarious truths about family, identity and the search for oneself.

Aidan’s warm presence is key to the show’s happy feels.

Aidan really gets the crowd interacting, bantering with audience members as they arrive and also throughout the show, filling the room with good vibes well before the show even begins.

And good vibes is what this show is about. Aidan invites you to follow him on a journey of self discovery halfway around the world, as he ponders the supposed divide between nature and nurture, and comes to grips with the kind of man he is, or at least wants to be!

There are plenty of laugh out loud moments, punchy dialogue and humorous insights into human behaviour to make for a fun ride from Aidan’s middle class upbringing in Adelaide, to the less conventional and downright irreverent moments in his life.

This lively show is a perfect balance of lighthearted observation and deep reflection, with plenty of punch ad a healthy dose of belly laughs.

If you want to have a fun night out with a bit of heart, and leave with a big grin on your face, then this show’s for you.
