Not my cup of tea
“Not my cup of tea”
Definitely not the best on 15 February. The MC was mean and not funny, Alex Watson was stiff and not funny, Rosco ? started well but turned bizarre and vulgar.

Best of Fest is a must-see comedy extravaganza that brings together a rotating lineup of international comedians, ensuring fresh laughs each week. The variety of acts caters to all tastes, making it a perfect choice for comedy enthusiasts.

The night I attended was hosted by the hilarious MC Cerys Nelmes, whose crowd interactions and quick-witted banter had everyone in stitches before the first act even began. Her charm and energy set the stage for a memorable evening.

First up was Anna Perry from Melbourne, who had the audience laughing with her relatable takes on marriage and parenting. Her down-to-earth humour struck a chord with many in the room. Following her, UK comedian Christian Elderfield delivered sharp and honest observations on a range of relevant topics, keeping the crowd roaring with laughter.

Carter Morgan from New York brought charisma and swagger to the stage, delighting the audience with clever comparisons between American and Australian culture.

Next, LA’s Rell Battle followed with his witty commentary on the "American way," Elon Musk, and modern life, drawing big laughs with his sharp delivery.

The show wrapped up with South African Emmy-nominated ventriloquist Conrad Koch, whose puppets stole the spotlight with raunchy, edgy humor that left everyone in hysterics.

Best of Fest offers a fantastic taste of the comedic talent featured at Fringe, with each act bringing something unique to the table. With its ever-changing lineup and wide appeal, it’s an essential night out for anyone seeking top-tier comedy.

Don’t miss the chance to laugh until it hurts!
