This is the best kid’s show at Fringe- hands down! Just brilliant! Dr Bubble and Milkshake always take us on a wonderful adventure filled with bubbles and so much creativity! We love them! My daughter April looks forward to your show every year!

Pop, Fizz, Wow! From start to finish, Bubble Show in Space* was a burst of excitement!

This family friendly performance appeals to everyone; adults will enjoy the 80s-00s soundtrack, while children will have a blast participating in the various skits.

The storyline is simple and easy for kids to follow: Milkshake the clown and Dr. Bubbles travel into space in search of a star, with bubbles taking centre stage throughout. The bubbles are integrated into every skit and used in fresh, imaginative ways. The opening and closing skits set the tone by having performers come out into the audience, creating hundreds of bubbles for everyone to enjoy.

Milkshake and Dr. Bubbles are both hilarious and know exactly how to engage the family audience, particularly the lucky kids who were invited on stage for the “alien bubble segment.” Other parts of the show provide a nice change of pace, such as the “shadow puppets” and the “square bubble”, allowing kids to catch their breath between bursts of excitement.

The show also featured some bubble firsts for my child and me, including bubbles large enough to fit humans inside. Best of all, the skits were varied and engaging—there were no repetitive segments, keeping the energy high throughout.

One of the show’s strengths was its accommodating and friendly staff at Perth Town Hall. The organizers were happy to support families with early exits if needed, especially for neurodivergent children or those who might find certain segments overwhelming. Accomodations ensured that no one felt left out, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all. At the end, children could play with different textured bubbles and take photos with Milkshake.

Overall, Bubble Show in Space is a must see that will leave your family bubbling with joy!
