SKETCH N SIP at Rocky Fringe Festival was a fun and creative way to spend a Friday afternoon.
With a non-alcoholic beverage in hand and guided by two art teachers, I created a charcoal masterpiece. Mistakes were easily erased, and colourful charcoal sticks meant beautiful creations. The tunes were cool, the environment was friendly and pleasingly stress-free.
It’s the type of event where you can take your grandkids, kids, family or just go solo. I left SKETCH N SIP thinking how much I enjoyed creating my masterpiece and with future inspiration and ideas in hand.
Well done Rocky Fringe on your second year. I’ll be back next year for another SKETCH N SIP art class, and I’ll keep practising my kookaburras until then.
