What a whirlwind!!! Never felt so enthralled by another species genitals… not a euphemism, or is it? Sex education delivered with superb twist and hilarious bite sized comedy facts. Will be seeing this one again - Dr Kit is so bloody brilliant and engaging. 🐝😎

Enter the Belgian Beer Café and wander down into Le Roi to experience an informative and raunchy talk about one of the most important insects in the World - Bees!

Once you enter Le Roi, prepare to be entranced by the delightful and engaging Dr. Kit - also Known As The Bee Babette - as she takes you on a journey through the mating habits of Bees and pollination. Prepare to be entranced as Dr. Kit brings an incredibly engaging and sensual talk about The Birds and The Bees to the Fringe World Stage!

Dr. Kit captivates the audience from the beginning to the end with her personal research experiences with Bees and their reproductive and pollination processes and keeps the audience engaged with audience interaction and photographs of bees and memes which left the audience laughing and wanting to know more.

With both a PhD and being “Australia’s leading native bee specialists” Dr. Kit shows us that being passionate about the topics we love and enjoy in our lives can lead to us finding a specific niche that brings us happiness and brings people together.

The Birds & The Bees proves that nature and science are both engaging and sensual and that science has never been bland and basic because there are different ways that each person can enjoy topics that must be studied in all possibilities and topics, which I personally feel is an important comment to make as science and art go hand in hand and Dr. Kit proves that in this incredible production that is a must-see this Fringe World 2024 season!

This talk wouldn’t be complete without a mention of The Birds which Dr. Kit explains their reproductive cycle as well in an engaging and informative manner which leaves the audience laughing and begging for more!

So if science and sensuality interest you, book a ticket and learn a thing or two about Bees and how important they are to the ecosystem and listen to this incredible talk from Dr. Kit!
