They’ve done it again. Barbie Q, Alexas Armstrong, Fay Rocious, Veronica Jean Jones and Ruby Jewelz are back with Drag Diva Spectacular: Diva Forever, an hour of drag extravaganza! Proving why it is an award-winning stalwart every season, this high-energy celebration of drag is an unmissable treat.

Royalty of Perth Drag, each queen brought her own trademark brand of talent and charm. Accompanied by two incredible dancers whose names I don't remember (sorry!) but whose moves I’ll never forget, the girls brought the house down with a repertoire of classic diva hits. From “Oh my God I forgot about this song!” moments, to Katherine Perry, to the Grammy-winning Australian queer anthem of 2023 (you know the one), the group perform hit after hit never missing a beat.

The looks are to die for and the showgirl-ship is second to none. Perfectly synchronised and stunningly choreographed group numbers got everyone dancing in their seats while a mind-blowing contemporary piece left us collecting our jaws from the floor. Barbie Q brought her legendary hostess skills while astonishingly quick changes happened backstage. She hinted that the next iteration of Drag Diva Spectacular will take a new format so if you’ve never seen it make sure you do, and if you have, come back to celebrate the end of an era!

Bring your best friend, bring your mum, bring your teenager, this show has something for everyone and Barbie Q did an impressive job of minding her Ps and Qs to keep the show (fairly) PG without sacrificing any of her signature comedy.
