Absolutely loved it! The songs were fantastic, and I liked the little audience participation. Would highly recommend seeing!

A Night at the Tavern this year has a steampunk twist as Curtin University’s Rhythmos Choir takes audiences on a roller coaster ride through the musical ages and genres.

A night with an a cappella choir performance gave me images of sedate melodies and I did wonder how they would hold audiences attention for a whole hour. I was wrong. It was a fun-filled evening with such a range of songs, genres and ages. There was movement and the occasional instrument, a fantastic call-and-response song and so much more. The performers clearly love what they do and it shone through, the audience loved it as well and The Edison was filled with an appreciative audience.

There was something for everyone with folk songs and ballads as well as modern songs reimagined. This is definitely a show that is safe to take the kids and where adults and kids can enjoy it equally
