Fun, entertaining, and high energy. Dirk Darrow is a fun character blending upbeat story telling, magic, mentalism, and audience participation. For our show he gave it his all through the 38 degree heat to make sure we had a great night!

Settle down into the cosy venue of the Downstairs @ The Brass Monkey to watch this hilariously captivating and - at times - mystical production!

Racing Sloth Productions brings to the stage ‘2 Ruby Knockers, 1 Jaded Dick: A Dirk Darrow Investigation’, an interactive and engaging production that has a mix of Film Noir inspired storytelling, audience interaction, and magical intrigue all wrapped up into one tight package - and I am not just talking about Ruby Knockers!

Dirk Darrow - played by the talented Tim Motely - takes the audience on an adventure to find the truth behind 2 Ruby Knockers and 1 Jaded Dick, and he does so with gusto and mind-reading capabilities that leave the audience astounded and intrigued all at the same time!

The ability to perform a production with interactive, pre-planned, and mystical capabilities and to also work on the fly is an incredible skill for any performer to have, and Tim Motely had the audience laughing and chuckling throughout the whole production.

Tim Motely shows their skills and potential throughout this production from using mind-reading skills to figure out information about different people, to incredible card tricks that leave the audience in awe and laughing, to knowing exactly what an audience member drew, to interacting with the audience and still keeping the audience engaged and listening to everything that he says!

If you are interested in detective and film noir style media as well as magical and mind-reading capabilities, this is definitely the production to see this Fringe. I cannot wait to see what Tim Motely and Dirk Darrow bring to us next!
