Have you ever needed a space to show off your main character energy? Or have you dreamt about starring in a musical? Guru Hudu gives the extrovert in you that "look at me" moment to shine during their walking tour.

It's not the pastel dream world of musical movies but Northbridge has its own vibe. Guided by Disco O and Daisy, two friendly hosts; the group were led down James Street, the Brass Monkey corner, the Cultural Centre, and Yagan Square. If you feel self conscious or shy, put your headphones on and embrace the music.

If you don't know how to boogie, Daisy and Disco O will guide you through all age/ability friendly moves. If that fails try disco hands and hip rolls. In the middle of the street, Daisy spritzed the sweaty dancers, which made grooving in the heat easier. Having a personal spritzer is a must during a Perth summer.

While most attending came in pairs or trios, solo attendees can also join in on the fun. Disco O enforces group participation and attendees are friendly. In a neon blur, Disco O led the group with the YMCA, Hot Stuff and Can You Feel It? Thankfully Kate Bush did not make the playlist.

A couple of later era classics made the cut for younger attendees. Just be prepared for the stares of passerbys and likely ending up on social media. The tour finishes at Yagan Square; and it gives you the time to shine. Dancing the soul train and jumping along to self love songs will be a special memory for a long time.

For interested attendees this tour is heaven for an extrovert! If you feel silly about not being able to sing, the headphones work amazingly and no one will make fun of you. Life is too short not to try this experience.
