Story Time with Mark Turner and Jessie Gordon will have you begging for more!

Mark Turner and Jessie Gordon have been friends forever, just ask them! In fact, as part of their newest FRINGE WORLD Festival show Story Time with Mark Turner and Jessie Gordon you'll get to hear more than just their dulcet tones singing covers, stunning originals and even a special mash-up if you're lucky. You also get a peek behind the curtain into one of the most heart warming friendships that exists in the Perth music scene.

Passing around bowls with questions, story prompts and song categories plus relying on the audience to select the right prompt is a gamble, but it's one that has paid off in spades for our dynamic duo. The stories these two incredibly talented musicians weave between songs brings another level to an already lovely evening of gorgeous melodies and enchanting harmonies. From Mark telling tales of the multiple times he's had emergency dental work to Jessie reminiscing about her 21st birthday they had the audience in stitches one moment and swaying along to their songwriting the next.

Charismatic crooner Mark Turner proves that men can indeed multi-task, between his masterful guitar strums, and his smooth jazz vocals he'll have you swooning from the very first song. Never to be outdone, Jessie Gordon is effervescent, with a soaring voice and her signature lilting cadence. My only complaint is that I could watch them for hours and one show is simply not enough. Thankfully with the evolving nature of this show, you could go every night and never hear the same ditty twice.

With an ever-changing set list, stories spanning a 20 year friendship and bucketloads of talent, Story Time with Mark Turner and Jessie Gordon is one of a kind and will having you coming back night after night!
