What happens when you pack a gorgeous venue like The Ellington with a bunch of incredible musicians and give them free rein over the tunes of beloved musicians Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and Ol' Blue Eyes himself - Frank Sinatra? You get Perth Cabaret Collective: Ella, Louis & Frank, an unmissable night of beautiful jazz. With the vocal prowess of Victoria Newton and crooner Mark Turner this is the perfect night out!

Stalwarts of the Perth jazz scene, Perth Cabaret Collective is made up of Perths premier jazz musicians and led by Musical Director Jess Herbert. But the Collective is not just a jazz band, apart from being made up of award winning musicians, they're also an all singing, all dancing troupe that will have you wishing you had even an ounce of the talent they possess. The rapport held by the band is palpable and they perform as one unit, cheering on the other band members during their respective solos.

Vocalist Victoria Newton is absolutely wonderful, serenading the crowd with her performance of Ella Fitzgeralds most well known tracks such as Love for Sale and Honeysuckle Rose. Victoria's voice is incredible, filling the intimate venue with velvety notes and her scat performance in Honeysuckle Rose is a highlight. Joined by charming crooner Mark Turner they belt out a wonderful version of Dream a Little Dream of Me and the interpretive dance number during Cheek to Cheek is not to be missed. A special mention has to go out to the fan on the stage, giving Victoria an opportunity to live every woman's 'wind in her hair' dreams! Victoria and Mark really make use of the whole stage, drawing the audience in with their cheeky performance styles and ensuring you'll be snapping your fingers the whole way home.

Mark and the bands rendition of one of Frank's most iconic tunes, My Way is hands down the highlight of the performance. The way Mark belts out the lyrics will have you transported back in time. This show is only on for a limited time, do not miss it!
