FRINGE FREAK OUT! Is an incredible immersive spectacular that closed the FRINGE WORLD season with a bang!
FRINGE FREAK OUT! included performers Rhonda Civic, Serenity Von Varda, Liberty Genre, Jordan Twartz, Lotta L’amour, Tootsyroll, Ginava, Bebe Babow, and the tantalizing Flynn V.
The whole production was supported by the stage kitten Adam Zapple whose assistance did not go unnoticed throughout the event and the brilliant DJ Lucky Pete.
Producer and host Flynn V – the party prince of Perth – brings to the stage FRINGE FREAK OUT! An immersive three-and-a-half-hour event which showcased incredible performers both on stage and off. The event was set up with performances happening in slots which allowed the audience to have time to mingle and dance until the next incredible performer sauntered on stage.
As the audience waited in line before the event began, those who had seen the opening night whispered about the amazing acts that graced the stage before, and what the performers would do to one-up the event for the closing ceremony.
Once the doors to THE RECHABITE opened, the eager audience rushed inside – some grabbing beverages at the bar and others getting the perfect spot to view the performances about to occur.
The venue space used for FRINGE FREAK OUT! was designed with a stage at the back of the venue, a pool table in the centre of the room, and three tier levels for audience members to either stand and view the performances from further up or on the ground level in front of the stage.
The audience mingled and said hellos until the incredible Flynn V made their presence known and the audience stared in awe. Each act that followed had the audience begging for more and cheering up a storm. The energy that echoed throughout each performance that graced the stage showed that each performer practiced hard and enjoyed performing and presenting what they had created to the eager audience.
As the first section of acts finished, the audience waited for the event to continue and performer Tootsyroll took to the pool table stage and wow’d the audience with their incredible movement and entertained the audience with an intensity that kept the energy of the room flowing perfectly.
Unfortunately, this reviewer was unable to stay for the entire event and I deeply regret being unable to see the rest of the performances.
Though I only saw the first half of this enchanting event, I give FRINGE FREAK OUT! five stars and I cannot wait to see what Flynn V and the other incredible and brilliant performers bring to the stage next time!
