Dolly Parton: Here I Come Again is an incredible drag spectacular that brings new energy to the incredible Dolly Parton we all know of and love.

Barbie Q brings another brilliant performance to the Connections Nightclub stage for FRINGE WORLD 2022.

The incredible Barbie Q herself graced the stage as the beautiful Dolly Parton and backup dancers Haydn Shadforth, Jovan Young, Gabby Kirby, and Elysha Atwell tore up the stage with their amazing dance skills.

The cast was also joined by the gorgeous Delvira Midnight and the stellar and rugged Freddy B Flo.

Dolly Parton – Here I Come Again brings to the stage a variety of much-loved Dolly songs with acrobatics and choreography weaved throughout.

Each performer could be seen smiling and having the time of their life as they performed and kept the energy up throughout the whole night.

Certain sections of the production were split up with segments of speaking where Barbie Q joked with the audience or shared a bit of information about the lovely Dolly Parton that might have been unknown to the crowd. Between the attitude, stage presence and choreography, Dolly is perfectly brought to the stage by Barbie Q.

I want to give a special mention to an important topic: the costumes. From the tight and multicoloured dress used for the opening number to the incredible pink sparkly dress that should never be retired, Barbie Q’s style choices for the night screamed all things Dolly.

Both Delvira Midnight and Freddy B Flo’s costumes also screamed Dolly, or at the very least country, as Delvira Midnight graced the stage in a beautiful gown and Freddy B Flo amazed the audience with his incredible grey suit. Both performers stole our hearts.

Overall Dolly Parton: Here I Come Again was an awe-inspiring performance and I’ve said this many times, but I cannot wait to see what else Barbie Q brings to the stage!
