The stage is set, the contestants are warming up and taking an opportunity to get the last few jibes and pranks in against their opponents. It’s not long until the curtain goes up and we see who will become Miss Midwest in 2022 and win the coveted tiara, but before the contestants can finish competing screams are heard throughout the hall, a contestant has been murdered!

In a world we all know from various movies and TVs, this show brings us into the middle of the drama that is the American pageant circuit, with all the drama and intrigue that comes along with it! Who is that new girl that entered last minute and does she have something to hide? Is that contestant getting a little too close to the judge? And what is the “special talent” that the other contestant is hinting at and why is she so convinced it will win her the title?

This show manages to entertain throughout the entire experience, whether it be from the many varied talents of the onstage performers or the experience of interviewing witnesses and examining evidence for clues, who is behind the grisly murder and what did they have against that poor girl?

Props also go to the cast, who manage to stay well and truly in character throughout the whole show, even when confronted with outlandish accusations from the crowd of amateur detectives.

So come along and enjoy the show, but remember to take note as this performance holds more than just deceit, heartbreak and betrayal. And remember, that nothing is as it seems.
