A Night of Musical Theatre is a perfect musical experience for all those who love musical theatre or want to introduce family and friends into the world of musicals. 

BarbieQ and Arise Productions both produce this incredible event, and performers Mia Simonette, Theresa Cruise, Lisa Michelle, Nicholas Cruse, Juan Albanese, and David Gray bring excitement to a variety of musical numbers to the Connections Nightclub stage.  

Though the stage was bare, the performers filled up the space with their incredible voices, and their constant energy kept the audience entranced throughout. 

Even when the performances turned towards slower and sadder songs, the performers hit the heart strings of the audience and caused us to feel the raw emotions hidden under each song. 

The sound of this production should also be commended as the microphones used were trained to the stage and each performer could be heard clearly even over the audience’s applause. 

This reviewer would love to see what each individual performer would bring to the table next time and what Arise Productions and Barbie Q will produce in the future. Four point five starts out of five!
