Who ever said that women aren’t funny? Well, whoever they were, they clearly hadn’t seen this show. Four of Fringe’s female favourites - Nadia Collins, Alice Mack, Laura Hutch and Gill the Scottish Terrier – are here for FRINGE WORLD 2022 and we’re oh so chuffed. This is a night of cheerful musings from a mix of lasses that you can sit back, watch and enjoy!

Nadia Collins starts the night with her quirky and awkward social interactions. She gets the crowd going with a careful balance of self-loathing and defiance. A delight to watch who feels more like a nomadic sister, whom you only see every Christmas, who tells you of their witty tales before leaving again for their next spontaneous adventure without the chance to ask for more. Unfortunately no solo show this year but look out for her in and around Perth’s comedy scene!

Alice Mack is introverted and withdrawn yet she’ll have you in stitches with each observation of life in Northbridge, seeing a Bogan world through middle-class-tinted glasses and her outrageous bedroom confessions. Laura Hutch has well-rehearsed material that details her very peculiar resume. You’ll definitely cringe at her political remarks but then again, you have to admit that she is the expert.

The headline act is Gill the Scottish Terrier. With a beautiful voice resembling our favourite green ogre, she has the confident stage presence of someone used to being in the limelight - whether at Fringe or at the latest dinner party. Her hilarious quips and quirks of life after 40 make you crack up and cackle. Definitely a very funny set for any woman who can relate!

Overall, a great night out for anyone looking for an easy evening of comedy. Support our local artists and enjoy our local talent!
