An enchanting look at what happens during a slumber party when theatre kids get together.

Broken Crayon Productions, led by Dylan Dorotich, brings another incredible cabaret and musical performance to the Connection’s stage!

Sh*t We Like To Sing: Unfiltered is a musical and cabaret production which showcases talented Perth performers such as Dylan Dorotich, Charlotte Louise, Shannon Rogers, Danielle McDonald, and Grace Johnson.

Set during a slumber party with a group of friends, each act includes the performers expressing themselves through individual and group acts, showing which songs mean the most to them and which ones have helped them throughout their lives during hard times.

With incredible choreography – designed by Shannon Rogers – each act is perfectly curated for the Connections stage and made the audience feel like they were being included in the slumber party.

Despite the performances being set out in sections following the same topics – slumber parties – the performance group worked together smoothly and brought the whole performance to a completion in a manner that was spectacular.

With heart filled dedications being made before each song – from coming out to being aware of limitations within the cast – Broken Crayon excelled expectations and made for a very entertaining and fun filled night! Four and a half stars!
