A fun and engaging drag experience!

Drag Time Music Hall was created by Perth drag performers Miss Cara, Skyscraper, Moxie Hart, and Rhonda Civic. The show I attended guest starred Perri Prism, filling in for Rhonda Civic who was unable to attend (Best Wishes).

During this drag spectacle, performers took the audience through different musical eras with each section having a variety of musical numbers and songs that kept the audience entertained. Miss Cara’s choreography displayed in each performance positively accentuated each song and allowed the performers to keep the audiences energy high and raring to go.

Each era featured an array of pop culture references – all of which can be enjoyed by all members of the audience. The event was fused with an impressive soundtrack which used an array of songs which touched each individual era in an entertaining manner.

Each performance showed how much the performers wanted to entertain the audience – this also included a secret and amazing performance number that included a live microphone.

Costumes and props for the event were well made and only further helped to emphasise each performance. There were some issues relating to wardrobe malfunctions, but the performers powered through and finished each number.

Certain costumes could have been developed further while other costumes throughout the night really shined through the night and were clearly well thought out. The props throughout the show were designed with each act in mind and only furthered the audience’s enjoyment.

The overall experience made this viewer laugh and want to see what else these talented performers could bring to the stage.
