A refreshingly stupid way to kick off the FRINGE WORLD Festival season; Perth comedy group make their world debut in Anti-Social Distancing Standup Comedy Show. This show is a guaranteed guffaw that will leave you with some local names to watch for in the future!

The show was opened by none other than the effortlessly funny, Tyronne King. His ability to segue from clever and unique observations about modern dating to low-hanging fruit punchlines was dynamic and resonated with the audience in the room. His ability to riff off jokes at one part of the show where he was clearly stalling for the following act was nothing short of impressive.

Following Tyronne was Perth comedy veteran, Dave Tuffley, who picked up the pace with rapid-fire punchlines that heightened the chorus of laughter in the room. The cadence of his delivery invites you to laugh at his own misfortunes along with him and is an admirable trait for this comedian on the rise.

Shash Kapur followed with a remarkable stage presence for a comedy newcomer. His warmth to the audience was invigorating and engaging and transformed the stage into an interactive experience for all to enjoy. Kapur is a natural, and a name for Australia should watch out for.

Chris Pucillo closed the show with a few zesty jokes that left most of the audience sucking air between their teeth. Although his level of observational humour was admirable, the impressive first three-quarters of the show were dimmed by this finale.

Anti-Social Distancing Standup Comedy Show is a charming debut at the 2022 FRINGE WORLD Festival. If you enjoy the dinky basement atmosphere of live comedy and variety in your comedic stylings; Anti-Social Distancing Standup Comedy Show is the show you should make time to fit into your FRINGE WORLD planner.
