It’s excitingly late at night, we’re in a beer garden and a surprise crew of comedians are ready to take the stage. The line-up for each show is all part of the secret.
Tonight’s show is hosted by the charismatic Jason Wood. Jason’s still struggling with the trials and tribulations of not being the tallest guy in the room, and he’s ready to tell us more about that at his own show; Not black, Not white, STILL Confused.
Onwards then to some of the highlights in tonight’s jam-packed line-up.
Gill the Scottish Terrier bounds up to the mic to serve some younger audience members a riotous reminder of just how good they have things. Gill joins forces with a bunch of other international arrivals rocking the Perth comedy scene for the FRINGE WORLD show, Border Security.
It’s an absolute delight to see Ayden Doherty, who captivates the crowd with a side-splitting tale about moulding, shall we say, a personal artefact. The Kleenheat Sizzle Factor is definitely hot with this one. Ayden is ready to show us why we all need laughter in our lives this FRINGE WORLD season at his show, Birthday Party for a Dead Friend.
Long time FRINGE WORLD favourite, Jo White, is next up to the stage, fresh from a chance meeting with our state Premier, and warming the festival crowds up for the upcoming run of his show, Ethiopian & Still Not Hungry - The Finale.
Closing the show tonight is Exmouth’s own Squirly, recently relocated down here to the big smoke with some hilarious tales to tell. Catch Squirly sharing his thoughts on these crazy days we live in at his solo show, Squid Game.
The Late Night Secret Comedy Beer Garden is a sneaky treat for stand-up comedy lovers, so snap up your tickets, grab a glass of something crafty and get set for a barrel of late night laughs.
