Located in Fremantle’s historic west end, the Moores Building Art Space (MBAS) consists of galleries and studios, with regular visual arts exhibitions, workshops and performances.


The Moores building is a raw and rustic space with open ceiling cavities and distinctive heritage features, now enhanced by a new wall build. The walls at Moores Building Art Space have been given a sleek new treatment that is designed to protect the rustic patina of the existing heritage walls.The unique architecture offers artists renewed opportunity to consider the particularities of MBAS heritage space.
