IMPROVessence

You are invited into the magical realm of spontaneous theatre — where every show is a one-of-a-kind creation sparked by audience inspiration. Actors transform your ideas into laughter, music and moments of pure connection. No scripts, no safety net — just the very essence of story creation. Challenges, titles, formats, characters and storylines vary each show.

·       1) Thursday, February 5th, 6:30pm Stuck In the Middle with You (Family)
·       2) Friday, February 6th, 8pm Wicked Women (Adult themes, recommended for ages 15+)
·       3) Saturday, February 7th, 3pm Just for Kids (and their Big People) 
·       4) and at 4:30pm Improv Game Show (Family Friendly)
·       5) Sunday, February 15th, 3pm The Hero's Challenge (Family)
·       6) 4:30pm Love and other Catastrophes (Adult themes, recommended for ages 15+)

The Actors Workshop, run by Nichola Renton, has been inspiring performers for over 25 years and is now celebrating its 9th year as a FringeWorld presenter. Known for innovative, inclusive, and joy-filled theatre experiences, the company runs classes for children, teens and adults across Perth, nurturing creativity, confidence and connection. 2025 saw us launch the first Perth Winter ImprovFest, bringing together improvisers local, national and international for shows, workshops and soirees. The Actors Workshop champions local artists and audiences alike—bringing spontaneity, laughter and heart to every stage.
